Why?
For added security, the Control Unit and Delivery Unit, whether delivered as part of the complete system or as individual items, will be in “locked mode” when received.
Both the Control Unit and the Delivery Unit have Unique Reference Numbers ( URN’s ) embedded within, but these are not displayed either on the Units or any packaging. When first receiving the Kit, or either of the Units purchased subsequently as individual items, they must be registered. Upon registration, all details supplied plus the URN are downloaded and stored securely.
This acts to :
- discourage theft of the Units
- automatically starts the 12 months warranty for both Units
- unlocks and enables the Delivery Unit
- unlocks and enables the Control Unit, and licenses it for unlimited use for 12 months
After every 12 months of use, the Control Unit MUST be re-registered to enable it’s unlimited use for a further 12 months
- annual re-registration will cost £26
- the re-registration process will enable automatic downloads of all upgrades
How?
By use of the lead provided, connect the individual Units to a PC on which the landing page of www.arcequine.com is already open, Press the “Register Now” button on the landing page and complete the on screen details as to ownership and date.
